This three day tournament probably ranks amongst the best we have been to. The Vancouver club play on two astroturf fields in the city of Vancouver and the tournament hotel is within walking distance.

We played in the 'social' division, and had a great run, winning almost every game that we played. Every game was hard fought, with good opposition, but they still asked us not to play in that division again. We finished up 2nd because Members Hockey Club (UK), who we ended up not playing had a better goal differential than us by 1 goal.

The tournament benefited from international opposition (UK, Hong Kong etc) and a beer tent - very much in the European Hockey spirit.

Many people put in great performances, not least Rachel who talked her way into playing a game - then irritated the opposition by scoring a goal !.

Lots of fun was had by all - lets hope we can manage to make another one.
