Yellow card | Other than Jes 7 to 2 Danny - reverse spin accidentally wipes out 4 ft 2 female opponent... 8 to 1 Trent - the hang over/lack of fitness is kicking in... 10 to 1 Asif - dribbles through 6 opponents to get the short corner (although Rachel was open all the way), but doesn't get the decision, stands with hands on hips, but gets carded for looking sideways at the umpire... 12 to 1 the Frenchmen - I still think he plays a different rule book from the rest of us... 15 to 1 Phil - manufactured breaches don't sit well with the umpire "You don't like me do you?..." |

| 1st game | Larry and Asif (not sure about this one I suspect Larry was accused of using Asif's tooth brush - which he didn't, but I suspect Danny had something to it with it...) |
| 2nd game | Asif and Jes, (Although Jes was successfully rocket a ball, back stick into the top right hand corner - subsequent attempts have not been as successful - Asif has correctly reminded Jes of the basics of moving around the ball. Jes has corrected Asif by saying Indian basic hockey philosophy is the glory not the conservative approach...there is also a lot muttering in Indian which I cant interpret something about vindaloo and popadoms... |
| 3rd Game | Garret/ Miki - (Garrett has hit a 50
yard lofted 16 yard hit and drilled Miki in the thigh who was standing
at half way ... Danny/himself - As per normal Danny is arguing with himself... |
| 4th game | Sebastien/rest of team. The Frenchman has identified a potential target...but she's getting on her team bus to leave for the day ... and Seb...doesn't want to stay for our game... |
| 5th Game | Phil/umpire. We are playing the US national team, Phil is still pressing for the 1-2-7-1 defense zone tactic, however after 5 games we have realized we have been playing with eleven and it is a 9 a side comp... (But we have at least scored one goal, when we sneaked twelve on during a short corner...) |
